Consciousness

What emerges from our perceptual mechanisms—those processes which attend the perturbations of our world—to form the impressions of a physical reality.

Waves, vibrating at frequencies both within and beyond the boundaries of perception, beat and resonate to form the matter that comprises our world.

Sound and music, derived from waves both simple and complex, create a reality that is aurally perceptible and alter our current state of consciousness, as if in changing the track we exit one room of perception and enter another.

Music, sound design, and other sonic arts are constructions of consciousness that we are free to enter and explore.
